What to Do After a Body Detoxification

Are you interested to detox your Body with the Master Cleanse, juice fasting, or water fasting? If so, you will likely spend plenty of time looking for information on how to detox and the best ways to do it. Yes, this is important, but so is knowing What to do following a body cleanse.

During juice fasting, water fasting and the Master Cleanse, you are forbidden from eating solid foods. The day your detox completes, you might want to jump right into a bag of chips or just enjoy a sumptuous meal. These are natural reactions, but not things that you should do. Most water fast last for at least five days, some fast on juice for two weeks, and some do the Master Cleanse for a month. During this period, your body had adjusted to not processing solid foods; hence, you need to slowly reintroduce them to your body again.

The first day or two After the Master Cleanse, juice fasting, or water fasting, it is advisable that you continue to avoid solid foods. If on the juice fast, your body was given some nutrients found from the juice; hence, you can work your way up to applesauce or liquid soup. If on the water fast or Master Cleanse, start with fruit or vegetable juices first and then start the transition into solid food. Although you want the fasting to be over with when the detox is over, your body will be grateful to you for making the transition smoothly.

When on a body detox diet, you should shed some weight. Your amount of weight loss will depend on the detox diet you opted, as well as your current body weight. The less food and calories you intake and the higher your weight, the more pounds you will lose. Even if losing weight was not your priority when first taking up a body detox program, it is something you will appreciate and treasure. For that reason, do not waste it. Start to exercise more regularly. Even if it is only a short walk in the park three days a week, you can help to keep your weight off.

In addition to exercise, you will want to continue eating healthy following a body cleanse or detox. You had spent days, if not months, detoxing your body and eliminating unnatural toxins from it. So, why just put more in? Now is the perfect time to switch to all-natural, organic foods. If you do not want to fully switch to organic, search for foods that are low in fats, sugar, GI Index and calories.

At the conclusion of a body detox diet, do not return to your normal routine. This is important if you drink and smoke frequently, or consume a lot of caffeine. These habits are not good for your body and should be stopped for good from your diet. The good news is that usually following a 10-day or more of a body detox program, you may feel less strong urge to light up a cigarette or gulp down your nightly glass of wine, or your daily soda.

It is also crucial to increase your water and fiber intake. As previously mentioned, your body had just spent days driving toxin buildup. Even if you eat healthily, toxins and unnatural chemicals will still find a way into your body. A body detox could help you get a jump start on this cleansing, but fiber and water can continue to assist the process of detoxification on a daily basis. They will make it easier for your body to stay cleansed.

In conclusion, remember to reintroduce solid foods back into your diet at a slow and steady pace. Once this has been done, watch the foods and drinks you put in your body. The more healthy and organic they are, the less buildup of additives and toxins you would suffer.

How does body detoxification work?I'm not looking into it for weight loss like a majority of people are but I've started taking an interest in body detoxification. I know there's this one yoga detox recipe that's been working for years but I need more information about this.

I don't want to know about the pills and products I just want to know about the actual detoxification.
Stop advertising your crap to me. I just want to know about how body detox works.

Your liver and kidneys detoxify your body. There aren't any pills or diets that will do anything to help your body detoxify. Anything that's sold to help this process is a scam.References :

Detoxification is a fancy word for cleaning your blood. There are many programs available to help, but your body actually has its own way dealing with toxins. There are two major systems involved with detoxification: anti-oxidation, and the detoxification process in the liver.

Oxidation is best illustrated by looking at rust, which is a reaction of metal to oxygen. When free radicals come in contact with the body, oxidation can occur. Oxidation causes all kinds of problems, such as allergies and certain types of sickness. The body has a natural anti-oxidation system which includes vitamins such as C, E, B2, bioflavonoid, beta-carotene and other substances to prevent oxidation. Oxidation occurs at the cellular level, so detox must occur there as well. Any deficiency of these in the diet causes problems removing toxins.

What a good full body detox does is also remove impurities from the blood through the liver. The liver is an important organ, and is where toxins are processed. The body also uses other organs such as kidneys, intestines, lungs, lymph nodes and skin to remove toxins. Most toxins are not water-soluble. When toxins enter the liver, two groups of enzymes break down the toxins into water-soluble substances to be excreted via the kidneys and other organs. When this system is not functioning properly, toxins can go unfiltered and your whole body suffers.

There are several ways a body detox program boosts your body’s clearing of toxins. Fasting for a short period of time is usually part of any full body detox. When you fast, your organs rest. This gives them time to rejuvenate themselves and assist with the cleansing. In addition to fasting, a good detox program will stimulate the liver to eliminate common toxins from your body the way it should have been doing all along. This also extends to elimination through the skin, kidneys and intestines.

Circulation is always a big part of any natural body detox. Boosting circulation of the blood through exercise, deep breathing, and other means helps toxins be carried quickly out of the bloodstream. The simple act of breathing deeply brings more oxygen to your blood, thereby allowing for faster elimination of toxins. Even though oxygen contributes to oxidation, lack of oxygen can also cause serious problems. Blood flow helps push more blood through the liver, allowing more toxin removal.

Diet is another major component of a body detox program. It is important to get rid of any toxins in the diet. It is usually necessary to cut out all sugar, caffeine, nicotine and other harmful chemicals from your body. This is one of the most important components, and it is helpful to continue giving your body nutrients even after your program is complete.

Abstaining from using certain chemicals also aids in toxin removal. Free radicals come from many household products. Perfumes, shampoos, household cleaners, sunscreens, and much more all contain toxins that get stuck in your body if there is no way to eliminate it. This is why abstinence and diet are two important ways to keep your body cleansed.References :
